Christmas Pj's

Untitled

Hey Gorgeous,
I found the perfect pair of pj's for Christmas morning! I got this set "The Dreamer Flannel Pajama" from Victoria's Secret, it is actually super comfortable and cozy. I always have trouble finding pajama pants that are long enough, but thankfully they had petite, regular, and long size options. I ordered a small long, and it fits great. The length of the bottoms are perfect and actually go past my ankles! I definitely recommend these cute flannel pajamas for anyone who is chilling at home on Christmas day. Aspire to be Inspired.

Fall Neutrals

Untitled

Hey Gorgeous,
Neutrals can be hard to pair, but not impossible! The trick is to find the same hues in each garment, and if they match wear them together (Unless it just looks awful). Here I'm wearing a plaid shirt with a deer leather skirt that I re-purposed. Finishing the look with black boot heels and a spike bracelet. A look based around neutrals can be a really chic style to wear, and easily achieved if you have an eye for color shades. Don't shy away from holding up a tan skirt/shirt to every neutral in your closet to find the perfect match! Aspire to be Inspired.

Tea Party Dress

Untitled

Hey Gorgeous,
Can we just take a second to admire the shoes? They are like high heel ballerina slippers, in my opinion. This outfit makes me feel like I am going to a grown up tea party! Going to be honest and say that I think I like the shoes more than the dress... I mean the dress is beautiful, but the shoes are just to die for (not the comfiest though). If you are going to any fancy parties or get togethers this holiday season, be sure to check out ModCloth.com. They have the most unique dresses for reasonable prices. Aspire to be Inspired.

Cream Leather Dress

Untitled

Hey Gorgeous,
Leather dresses are a great staple for any wardrobe, they are timeless and can be worn forever (depending on the quality of the leather). To keep my look simple and classy I wore pointed toe snake skin flats, and a vintage necklace that I got from an art fair. Aspire to be Inspired.

Tough With A Touch Of Girly

Untitled

Hey Gorgeous,
I am obsessed with this outfit because it is the perfect combination of girly and edgy. Don't be afraid to mix two different styles, the outcome will be an interesting and different, yet really stylish look. I love the contrast between the black and white (literally, the only colors I wear). Next time you are going to pick out an outfit for the day choose two completely opposite style pieces and run with it, you may be surprised! Aspire to be Inspired.

Not Your Average Plaid

Untitled

Hey Gorgeous,
Here is how to transform any casual plaid shirt into a huge fashion statement! I started with a plain plaid shirt, added some black skinnies, a chunky statement necklace, some black heeled booties, sunnies, and a finished off with a structured bag. The real essential in pulling off this outfit is the attitude, I know, I know, sounds cheesy, but it is very true! Strut the streets in your revamped plaid outfit with confidence! Columbus Fashion Week Finale Outfit

Untitled

Hey Gorgeous,
Last Saturday I had the opportunity to go watch the Columbus Fashion Week Finale, and let me just tell you that it was amazing! It was super inspiring to see some really talented designers' finished pieces. For my outfit, I wore black Helmut Lang pants with a black leather top, and a white blazer on top. Pulling together the top portion with a long gold chain necklace that matched the zippers on the jacket. For shoes, I wore my black chunky heels, and completed the look with a Chanel cross body bag. Skeleton Halloween Makeup Inspiration

Untitled

Hey Gorgeous,
Halloween is coming around the corner and you don't wanna be stuck costume-less this year! Last year during the winter I painted my face for an art project, (that's why there is snow on the ground in the pictures). I just wanted to post these pictures as inspiration for your halloween costume! I know this isn't necessarily a 'cute' makeup idea, but if you do decide to go with something skeletal here are some ideas! To create this look I used black and white face paint that I picked up from a local halloween store, and to make some parts more opaque I used black and white eyeshadow overtop the face paint. Don't worry we will have some more 'cute' costume and makeup tutorials coming up, so this isn't all! Aspire to be Inspired.

Cherry Midi Skirt

Untitled

Hey Gorgeous,
A trend that came back from the dead is going around and it is the midi skirt. I just had to have one, but decided that I wanted to try and make one before going out and buying one. I had this beautiful cherry print fabric that my grandma gave me, (she got it from the fabric district in New York) and could not wait to use it! since the cherry print is already sorta retro looking, I thought it would be perfect for this kind of skirt. It is hard to see in the pictures, but over the cherry fabric I sewed on a layer of tulle to give it more texture and dimension. The tulle is cut shorter than the cherry fabric to contrast the different fabrics. I paired it with a white button down shirt, black patent leather pointed heels, a vintage gold necklace, and a bright red bag to pull everything together. This is one of my most favorite outfits I have ever put together, it makes me feel so feminine and sassy! Aspire to be Inspired.

Denim Dress + Oversized Cardigan

Untitled

Hey Gorgeous,
If you are starting to miss all of your summer dresses, stop now! Simply throw an oversized sweater over any summer dress, and voila! Probably one of the best ways to get away with wearing a summer dress in the fall, and easiest, because the whole outfit consists of two pieces. When wearing a super non-complicated look like this, don't forget accessories. I'm wearing an antique pocket watch necklace that I got from a local art festival, I think it goes perfect with the denim/rustic feel. To make your not so summery outfit even more 'fallish', wear a pair of booties, mine are black suede, and have a small chunky heel. Aspire to be Inspired.

Casual Class

Untitled

Hey Gorgeous,
I really love outfits like this one because you can easily build an outfit around basics. I started with picking the black scalloped shorts, and then went from there. I paired the shorts with a white button down and an army green military jacket. When you just feel like you don't have any cute clothes and have nothing to wear, pair a bunch of basic pieces together and tie it all together with a statement piece. This leaves you with a really cute outfit, and makes it look like you barely tried. It is best to have mostly basic pieces in your wardrobe, because you can make so many more outfits out of one basic piece then you can with something that has a huge pattern or is really out there. Aspire to be Inspired.

Army Green Leather

Untitled

Hey Gorgeous,
The colder weather is finally coming back, and I could not be any more excited! I based my entire look around this skirt from 7 For All Mankind. I am OBSESSED with everything about it. My favorite part about this chic piece is the silver zippers on the sides, it takes the edginess factor to the next level for me. I paired it with a white button down and a statement necklace, keeping it really simple to direct all the attention onto the skirt. Tip: When wearing a tight skirt like this, it is best to pair it with something that isn't as tight to give some movement and breathability. Skirts like this can be a huge staple in the wardrobe, because it can be easily dressed up and down depending on occasion. Aspire to be Inspired.

Backless B&W

Untitled

Hey Gorgeous,
Transitioning into Fall means switching out shorts for pants, short sleeves for long sleeves, flip flops for boots and so on, but that doesn't mean it has to get boring! From the front it looks like I'm wearing a plain white long sleeve tee, but when I turn around you realize it is a backless shirt *mind blown*. To keep this look from being to 'showy' I decided to wear a thick black bando bra. I wanted the center of attention to be on the back, so I kept the rest simple by just pairing it with black skinny jeans, and a pair of black booties. Tip: If you are uncomfortable with showing your entire back, a great alternative is a contrasting tank top. The tank will still showcase the back, but will keep everything all covered up. Remember confidence is key when trying to pull off any outfit! Aspire to be Inspired.

Denim w/ Pinstripes

Untitled

Hey Gorgeous!
There is no need to put away all your adorable pairs of shorts as we transition into Fall! Pairing a simple long sleeve anything with your shorts can be the perfect casual outfit! A staple piece that every girl needs is a white long sleeve oxford shirt, simply because it's a classic style and easy to match with anything. For this look I didn't go crazy with the accessories, because I loved the simplicity of the crisp white shirt and denim pinstriped shorts, tying the whole outfit with black details. Aspire to be Inspired.

Throwback to the 90's + DIY

 photo DSC00041_zps3ggd3irh.jpg

Hey Gorgeous,
Today's look is inspired by the 90's and the whole "grungy" style. Personally, I feel like a black tattoo choker can transform any outfit into a more edgy, grunge look over all. In the pictures below I'm wearing a floral cat ear headband, just for the fun of it! That headband is actually a DIY project I had done before the summer started, only taking me about 30 minutes and a lot of patience. I started with a plain black headband, then shaped thick wire in the shape of cat ears and to finish it off I wrapped black hemp cord around the entire headband, covering the wire as well. I then used a bouquet of fake flowers and simply cut the stems off, leaving only the flowers. I hot glued them to the hemp wrapped wire and the top of the headband itself. This quick project is super cute to wear to a festival, carnival, concert, or any normal day to spice up a plain outfit. The whole outfit has a 90's grunge feel, because of the choker, but has a girly vibe as well, since I added the floral headband. Aspire to be Inspired.

Leather... In The Summer!

 photo IMG_4045_zpsieypjt3q.jpg

Hey Gorgeous,
You might be thinking, "leather? In the summer?!" YES! Leather in the summer, but in a totally different way. Instead of a leather jacket or leather pants I whipped out this deer leather skirt. This skirt was given to me by my grandmother, she told me she had it forever and worn it a bunch and wanted to pass it on to me. No, my grandma was not wearing a mini skirt, this was actually a long maxi skirt when I first received it. The style was a bit outdated so I transformed it into a skirt and crop top set. I'm not wearing the crop top here, but I basically chopped off the whole bottom part of the skirt and used that material to sew up a little top and then I just kept the rest of the skirt the way it is. I'll insert a picture of the crop top at the bottom of the post so you know what it looks like! The easiest way to pull off any type of leather skirt is to pair it with a solid neutral color or black in my case. Don't let the warm weather keep you from rocking your favorite leather mini skirt! Go for it and don't look back! Aspire to be Inspired.

Bright White & Peachy Cream

 photo IMG_3271_zpseaa5zovh.jpg

Hey Gorgeous,
Yea... The beautiful background is NOT in Ohio. I'm currently on vacation in Malibu, California with my family and never want to leave this wonderful place. The vibes are super chill which is why I went for such a relaxed outfit. A great way to take a super casual look to the next level is by wearing wedges. This type of shoe boosts height, confidence, and the fashion scale. Don't forget to subscribe to our newsletter to be notified when we post! (Available on the side bar) Aspire to be Inspired.

Black on Black

 photo Screen Shot 2015-06-14 at 5.25.46 PM_zpsoquhnctp.jpg

Hey Gorgeous,
I can't tell you how obsessed I am with the black on black trend! I think it is such a classy, chic, and effortless look. This one is easy for me since half of my closet is black clothing. Anyone could put this outfit together, start with a pair of black jeans, a black tee shirt, and some black shoes. I added a berry lipstick to dramatize the look, but a bright pink would also look great! Tip: A confident attitude will make this whole look 10x better, always remember to be comfortable and confident in your clothes! Aspire to be Inspired.

Fringe and Cheetah

 photo IMG_2908_zpsuo5xrwat.jpg

Hey Gorgeous,
I'm obsessed with this outfit because it's super casual and chill, yet it's still chic and stylish. I wore this ensemble while running a few errands, except I wore my white Superga tennis shoes. Later I changed into these cheetah sandals before dinner with my family! You may (or may not) be wondering where I got this fringe dress? Well, I made it myself from scratch! Sorry, you can't find this in stores! Aspire to be Inspired.

B&W Kimono

IMG_0844

Hey Gorgeous,
Today, I was feeling the whole black and white theme, so I ran with it! I love this long kimono, because it makes me feel girly and stylish. I recently purchased these Steve Madden chunky platform heels in California and couldn't wait to put an outfit together around them. I kept the jewelry super simple since I wanted the kimono and shoes to stand out over everything. Aspire to be Inspired.

Girls (Rainy) Night Out

Hey Gorgeous,
The other night Olivia and I went out for dinner at Melt to get some tasty grilled cheeses. We both agree when we say that we can never eat grilled cheese again... We got the "Mighty Macaroni" and that is just it, mighty, and lots of macaroni! Don't get me wrong, it was tasty, but was just too much all at one time. The sandwich was around 7 inches thick, but this post isn't about food! Click below to check out our outfits of the night.

Fashion Institute for Design and Merchandise (FIDM) | 3 Days of Fashion

Untitled

Hey Gorgeous,
I just finished 'camp' at the Fashion Institute of Fashion and Merchandise in Los Angeles, California! I went for a three day program called "3 Days of Fashion" and had the most amazing time of my life (no joke). On the first day I was so nervous, but then all three hundred of us were split up into groups of around 17-23 and I started making new friends. I knew that this was going to be an awesome three days. My very first class of the day was drapery. I have never done this before so I just went for it! The best part of my experience was being with so many creative and artsy people just like me.
