Fashion Institute for Design and Merchandise (FIDM) | 3 Days of Fashion

Hey Gorgeous,

        I just finished 'camp' at the Fashion Institute of Fashion and Merchandise in Los Angeles, California! I went for a three day program called "3 Days of Fashion" and had the most amazing time of my life (no joke). On the first day I was so nervous, but then all three hundred of us were split up into groups of around 17-23 and I started making new friends. I knew that this was going to be an awesome three days. My very first class of the day was drapery. I have never done this before so I just went for it! The best part of my experience was being with so many creative and artsy people just like me. 

These are all the finished 'draped pieces' done by myself and my fellow classmates. (mine is the light blue one)

There were amazing displays like this one all over the place at FIDM, creativity around every corner!

Fast forward to day two, here is a quick little OOTD. Dress: Forever 21, Shoes: Superga, Jean Jacket: Zara, Purse: Kate Spade, Necklace: Art Festival.

My friend Garrett and I got the pleasure to meet the designer and brains behind KAOHS Swimwear! They both graduated from FIDM, and have successfully built their own brand right out of college. Truly an inspiration for me!

The whole L.A. experience was simply amazing for me, and I can't wait to go back in a few weeks for family vacation. I made a lot of great friends at FIDM and hope to see them all again some day! Aspire to be Inspired.
