Hey Gorgeous,
You might be thinking, "leather? In the summer?!" YES! Leather in the summer, but in a totally different way. Instead of a leather jacket or leather pants I whipped out this deer leather skirt. This skirt was given to me by my grandmother, she told me she had it forever and worn it a bunch and wanted to pass it on to me. No, my grandma was not wearing a mini skirt, this was actually a long maxi skirt when I first received it. The style was a bit outdated so I transformed it into a skirt and crop top set. I'm not wearing the crop top here, but I basically chopped off the whole bottom part of the skirt and used that material to sew up a little top and then I just kept the rest of the skirt the way it is. I'll insert a picture of the crop top at the bottom of the post so you know what it looks like! The easiest way to pull off any type of leather skirt is to pair it with a solid neutral color or black in my case. Don't let the warm weather keep you from rocking your favorite leather mini skirt! Go for it and don't look back! Aspire to be Inspired.
xoxo, Jordan

Sorry, It is a little (or a lot) blurry, but that is what the crop top looks like! I just traced a top I already had right on top of the inside of the leather, cut it out, and sewed the back and front pieces together. To make it a bit more fitting and not a big box I added two darts in the front to keep it from looking frumpy. I added a super cute pastel pink zipper in the back, making it easier to take on and off. Thanks for reading!
