Leather... In The Summer!

 photo IMG_4045_zpsieypjt3q.jpg

Hey Gorgeous,
You might be thinking, "leather? In the summer?!" YES! Leather in the summer, but in a totally different way. Instead of a leather jacket or leather pants I whipped out this deer leather skirt. This skirt was given to me by my grandmother, she told me she had it forever and worn it a bunch and wanted to pass it on to me. No, my grandma was not wearing a mini skirt, this was actually a long maxi skirt when I first received it. The style was a bit outdated so I transformed it into a skirt and crop top set. I'm not wearing the crop top here, but I basically chopped off the whole bottom part of the skirt and used that material to sew up a little top and then I just kept the rest of the skirt the way it is. I'll insert a picture of the crop top at the bottom of the post so you know what it looks like! The easiest way to pull off any type of leather skirt is to pair it with a solid neutral color or black in my case. Don't let the warm weather keep you from rocking your favorite leather mini skirt! Go for it and don't look back! Aspire to be Inspired.

Bright White & Peachy Cream

Hey Gorgeous,
Yea... The beautiful background is NOT in Ohio. I'm currently on vacation in Malibu, California with my family and never want to leave this wonderful place. The vibes are super chill which is why I went for such a relaxed outfit. A great way to take a super casual look to the next level is by wearing wedges. This type of shoe boosts height, confidence, and the fashion scale. Don't forget to subscribe to our newsletter to be notified when we post! (Available on the side bar) Aspire to be Inspired.

Black on Black

Hey Gorgeous,
I can't tell you how obsessed I am with the black on black trend! I think it is such a classy, chic, and effortless look. This one is easy for me since half of my closet is black clothing. Anyone could put this outfit together, start with a pair of black jeans, a black tee shirt, and some black shoes. I added a berry lipstick to dramatize the look, but a bright pink would also look great! Tip: A confident attitude will make this whole look 10x better, always remember to be comfortable and confident in your clothes! Aspire to be Inspired.

Fringe and Cheetah

Hey Gorgeous,
I'm obsessed with this outfit because it's super casual and chill, yet it's still chic and stylish. I wore this ensemble while running a few errands, except I wore my white Superga tennis shoes. Later I changed into these cheetah sandals before dinner with my family! You may (or may not) be wondering where I got this fringe dress? Well, I made it myself from scratch! Sorry, you can't find this in stores! Aspire to be Inspired.

B&W Kimono

Hey Gorgeous,
Today, I was feeling the whole black and white theme, so I ran with it! I love this long kimono, because it makes me feel girly and stylish. I recently purchased these Steve Madden chunky platform heels in California and couldn't wait to put an outfit together around them. I kept the jewelry super simple since I wanted the kimono and shoes to stand out over everything. Aspire to be Inspired.

Girls (Rainy) Night Out

Hey Gorgeous,
The other night Olivia and I went out for dinner at Melt to get some tasty grilled cheeses. We both agree when we say that we can never eat grilled cheese again... We got the "Mighty Macaroni" and that is just it, mighty, and lots of macaroni! Don't get me wrong, it was tasty, but was just too much all at one time. The sandwich was around 7 inches thick, but this post isn't about food! Click below to check out our outfits of the night.

California Haul

Hey Gorgeous,
I did a little bit... or maybe a lot of shopping in California a couple weeks ago. I wanted to go through it all and show you what I'm loving at the moment! Don't forget to like the video if you enjoyed and subscribe if you want to see future videos. Aspire to be Inspired.

Fashion Institute for Design and Merchandise (FIDM) | 3 Days of Fashion

Untitled

Hey Gorgeous,
I just finished 'camp' at the Fashion Institute of Fashion and Merchandise in Los Angeles, California! I went for a three day program called "3 Days of Fashion" and had the most amazing time of my life (no joke). On the first day I was so nervous, but then all three hundred of us were split up into groups of around 17-23 and I started making new friends. I knew that this was going to be an awesome three days. My very first class of the day was drapery. I have never done this before so I just went for it! The best part of my experience was being with so many creative and artsy people just like me.
